Description

After collecting you from the David Citadel Hotel at the scheduled time, we'll embark on our guided tour of Jerusalem.

Our adventure begins with a climb to Mount Scopus, where stunning views of the historic old city await. Next, we will continue to the Gardens of Gethsemani and the Church of All Nations as we descend into the old town.

We will navigate through HaKardo, the central street from Jerusalem's Byzantine period. In the Jewish Quarter, we will visit the Western Wall, the last remnants of the ancient Temple of Jerusalem destroyed by the Romans. Here, visitors can place a note with their wishes in the cracks of this sacred wall. Just behind it lies the Dome of the Rock, an important Islamic shrine.

Our next stop will be the Christian Quarter, where we will see the Holy Sepulchre church, built on the site believed to be where Jesus was crucified. We will also follow his path along the Via Dolorosa Street, retracing the steps he took while carrying the cross to his crucifixion.

During the midday break, you will have an hour of free time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, we will reconvene to explore the modern part of Jerusalem. Highlights include the architectural design of the Parliament of Israel and a visit to the Holocaust Museum, where we will reflect on significant, somber events of history.

After a comprehensive 10-hour exploration of Jerusalem, our tour will conclude.

Important

On Fridays, Saturdays, and public holidays, the visit to the Holocaust Museum will be replaced by a trip to Miskenot Sha´ananim, the first Jewish neighborhood located on the outskirts of the ancient city of Jerusalem.
