Your adventure begins early in the morning with a pickup from your hotel around 4 am, setting the stage for a journey to Pilanesberg National Park. The drive, lasting approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, will prepare you for the excitement ahead.

Upon arrival at Pilanesberg, we will embark on our safari, aiming to spot the renowned Big Five of Africa: the lion, black rhino, African savannah elephant, leopard, and African buffalo.

During the next four hours, we’ll navigate through this stunning landscape, which is uniquely situated within an ancient volcanic crater, home to over 7,000 animals!

In the vicinity of Mankwe Dam, keep an eye out for herbivorous species such as zebras, antelopes, and giraffes. Additionally, the area boasts a diverse array of birds, ranging from cormorants to fish eagles.

As the day unfolds, we will pause for lunch around 1:30 pm in the picturesque settings of Pilanesberg.
