Tour Overview

At the designated hour, transportation from your hotel will take you to the starting point of the buggy excursion. Get prepared to experience the thrill while discovering the stunning landscapes of the Dominican Republic.

Upon your arrival at the buggy base, a brief safety orientation will be provided, detailing how to operate the vehicles. Once ready, we will hop into the buggies and embark on a journey along rural paths enveloped by vibrant greenery.

Over the span of three hours, we will pass by expansive plantations, all while gaining insights into rural Dominican life. To enhance your journey, there will be a stop at a sugar cane plantation where you can savor freshly cut cane, showcasing this local treasure.

Continuing our drive, we will reach the banks of the Chavón River, a breathtaking backdrop that has captured the beauty of numerous films including King Kong, Rambo II, Apocalypse Now, and Jurassic Park.

In addition to taking in this magnificent scenery, you will have 15 minutes of free time for swimming. During this pause, enjoy some local snacks paired with hot chocolate, coffee, or a taste of traditional mamajuana.

Next, we’ll venture to Bayahíbe Beach, arguably the perfect conclusion to our day. Here, you’ll have two hours of leisure time for swimming and relaxation on one of the most pristine beaches in the area.

In closing, we will make our way back to the buggy hub to return the vehicles and subsequently drop you off at your hotel, completing a total of nine hours of adventure.

Tour Conditions

• Participants must be at least 16 years old to drive the buggy, although a driver’s license is not necessary.
• The booked buggy must be completely filled, meaning if you reserve a double buggy, it must have 2 occupants, and a four-seater requires 4 individuals.
