Vatnajökull Glacier Excursion

We will convene at the appointed hour at Lake Jökulsárlón, situated in southern Iceland. From here, we'll embark on an off-roading Jeep journey to reach Breiðamerkurjökull, one of the primary gateways to the magnificent Vatnajökull glacier. As we step onto the glacier, our trekking adventure will commence, spanning a distance of 2 kilometers (1.2 miles). The specifics of this hike will be influenced by current weather, seasonal conditions, and group size.

As we traverse the glacier, we'll pass beneath a natural ice arch sculpted by the flowing glacial river. Upon entering the cave, you'll have the chance to feel the icy crystalline blue walls, a stunning testament to nature's artistry! We will spend approximately 45 minutes inside this spectacular cavern.

Following this breathtaking exploration, we'll retrace our steps back to the entrance we originally used. Then, we will board our off-roading vehicle for the return journey to the meeting point, concluding our adventure after a total duration of 2 hours.
