Your journey will commence from your hotel in Kandy at 11 am. After a three-hour drive, we will reach one of Sri Lanka's renowned nature preserves, Hurulu Ecological Park.

Upon arrival, we'll board a jeep to embark on an exciting photographic safari in Hurulu. As we traverse the park, you'll encounter the rich biodiversity characteristic of this region, including turtles, leopards, and various amphibians. The diverse ecosystems house an extensive range of bird species such as parrots, hawks, and peacocks.

After a leisurely picnic break, prepare for the highlight of the safari: the sighting of Hurulu elephants. Witnessing these magnificent creatures up close will undoubtedly leave you in awe! As we move closer to the herds, we'll learn about their intriguing habits and lifestyle.

Our final stop will be at the Hurulu Wewa reservoir, where you'll have the chance to observe numerous bird species gathering by the water's edge to refresh themselves. Many of these birds undertake extensive migrations, traveling vast distances to enjoy this oasis in Sri Lanka.
