Kekova Island Excursion

Embark on a sailing adventure along the stunning Mediterranean coastline of Turkey and uncover the hidden gems of Kekova Island. During this journey from Kas, various stops will allow you to swim in the inviting azure waters and explore their enigma.

Description

The day begins at our designated meeting point, where a boat awaits to whisk us away to one of the most breathtaking yet lesser-known spots along the Turkish Mediterranean: Kekova Island.

After approximately an hour of travel, we will arrive at Inonu Bay, an ideal place for you to unwind and take a refreshing dip. Following this, we will reboard the boat and continue to Kalekoy, where you will have an hour to wander through the charming streets of this ancient village, with the opportunity to explore the remarkable Simena Castle.

We will gather at a restaurant in Kalekoy for a scrumptious lunch that includes a salad, a main dish, and dessert. Energized from our meal, we’ll return to our boat and set sail towards Kekova Island, famously known as the sunken city.

After immersing ourselves in the remnants of this enchanting civilization, we will proceed to Tersane Island, where intriguing ruins such as a church, a castle, and ancient walls await discovery. Following this, we’ll make two additional stops at Akvaryum Bay and Yaglica for a delectable swim in the pristine waters.

This delightful excursion will conclude as we return to the starting point after approximately nine hours of exploration.

Sea conditions

Please keep in mind that sea conditions can occasionally be unpredictable. In instances where sailing from the port of Kas is not feasible, we will adjust our plans and travel by bus to the ports of Ucagiz or Demre.
