SSI Open Water Diver Course

Day 1: Theory and Confined Water Training

The SSI Open Water Diver Course is perfect for those eager to learn scuba diving in the enchanting turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea.

We will convene at 10 am on the course's first day at the dive center. Utilizing the theoretical knowledge you prepared in advance, we will head to the beach for a two-hour session dedicated to basic SSI Open Water Diving techniques.

Following this introduction to scuba diving, a two-hour intermission will allow you to enjoy lunch (not included). We'll reconvene at 2 pm to return to the water for two hours of diving in confined waters, where the conditions are stable and well-regulated. Our first day of training will conclude at 6 pm at the same meeting point.

Day 2: Open Water Diving

The second day of your SSI Open Water Diver Course starts with a meeting at the dive centre at either 7:20 am or 1:20 pm, depending on your selected time. After gearing up, we will venture into the ocean to explore the abundant marine life around Koh Phi Phi Le, part of the Phi Phi Islands National Park.

We'll spend one hour diving along the coral reefs before surfacing for a short break. Refreshed, we’ll dive again for another hour, seeking out the brilliantly colored tropical fish.

After approximately four and a half hours of diving, you'll be eligible to take a test to earn your SSI Open Water certificate. The activity will wrap up at the original meeting spot.

Day 3: Additional Diving

On the third day, we will schedule two additional one-hour dives in the waters of Koh Phi Phi Lee. As with the previous day, you'll have the option to choose your preferred start time during registration. Let’s dive deeper!

Scuba Diving Theory

Upon confirming your booking, we will provide you with a dossier containing the theory behind scuba diving. It's essential to study this material beforehand and bring the dossier on the first day of your course.

Eligibility for Participation

• On the opening day of the course, participants must complete a swimming assessment: 200 meters freestyle without a time constraint.

Due to weather conditions or group requirements, dive locations may differ from those initially planned.

Documentation Requirements

To engage in this scuba diving experience, a medical form must be completed at the dive center.
