Your journey begins with a hotel pickup in Kolkata at 9 am. The first destination will be the stunning Paresnath Jain Temple. Experience the intricate details of its architecture while discovering the roots of Jain worship. Within the shrine, we’ll marvel at the exquisite carving of Shitalnathji, whose forehead gleams with precious diamonds!
The next highlight is the impressive Victoria Memorial. This grand structure, honoring Queen Victoria of England, stands as a testament to British legacy. Inside, a museum awaits, showcasing an extensive array of paintings, engravings, and various art forms.
Following this, we'll head to the iconic Howrah Bridge, close to which lies Dalhousie Square. There, we will observe the exterior of notable sites, including the General Post Office, St. John's Church, and the Raj Bhawan, which serves as the Governor's Mansion.
Our final destination will be Maidan Park, where we’ll delve into the historical significance of Fort William, perched on the banks of the Hugli River. This fortification was initially built to protect British interests in India.
