Important information
Meeting Point
Meet your guide at 14 Straszewskiego Street in Kraków at the scheduled time. Please be there 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
Documentation Required
As per the requirements of Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum, all participants are required to bring an ID, passport or any other identification with the picture with the same names as used in the booking. Entrance may be refused if the name provided on the booking is not identical to the name on the ID provided when entering.
Activity Restrictions
Please note that visitors cannot enter Auschwitz Museum with a backpack or handbag larger than 30x20x10cm. You can either leave it on the bus or store it at the museum’s checkroom.
Nobody under the influence of alcohol will be allowed to get on the bus.
Bringing food, picnics, and littering in the concentration camp is strictly prohibited. Above all, please exercise common sense, remember that this is a place where over a million people lost their lives, and please behave accordingly. Any food brought with you must remain on the bus during the visit, and can only be consumed before or after the visit.
Additional Info
The guided tours of the concentration camps themselves takes a combined time of 3.5 hours, with 2 or 3 breaks of 10-15 minutes. We suggest you bring something to drink for these breaks, although there are stalls at the entrance to the concentration camps.
Tour Starting Time
From April 2020, the starting time of the tour may vary depending on the day, with a maximum margin of 4 hours. In this case, the provider will contact you day before the tour to set exact meeting time.
Please note the start time of the tour may change based on the decision of the Auschwitz Museum. We recommend saving the whole day for this activity.
Important Info
- Due to the large number of visitors, the schedule may be modified. It's important that you have your mobile phone fully operational in case of any changes of this kind.
- Visits to the camp are only permitted with authorized guides, not external ones. Your reservation will be confirmed once the camp assigns a guide, which will happen by 3 pm the day before your visit.
- All operators require a minimum group size to be able to access the camp with a guide, so sometimes, if this is not reached, the activity may be cancelled or rescheduled.
- We reserve tickets and secure a guide as soon as the minimum group size is met. However, for last-minute bookings, guide availability cannot be guaranteed, and the activity may be subject to cancellation.
- However, if there is any change in the departure time of the day trip, we'll notify you at least 15-24 hours before the activity.
- Tickets are nominative, and only one change per reservation is allowed. This change can affect no more than 10% of the participants.
