Tour Overview
We will collect you at the scheduled time from your accommodation in central Kraków or a nearby designated meeting spot, after which we will embark on a bus journey to O?wi?cim.
Situated adjacent to this town in southern Poland, close to the Czech border, Auschwitz I is our first destination. Upon arrival, a guided tour of this site for political prisoners will unfold. Throughout the exploration of the various prison blocks, we will witness the infamous starvation cells, where many inmates suffered a tragic fate.
Following this initial segment, there will be a brief pause for reflection on the somber history encountered. We will then proceed to the outskirts of O?wi?cim for a guided visit to Auschwitz II-Birkenau. This site served as an extermination camp, created to implement what the Nazis termed the Final Solution to the Jewish Question.
The tour through this extensive complex includes sights such as the prisoner barracks, the latrines, and the remnants of crematorium ovens and gas chambers. We will also observe the tracks of the trains that delivered countless prisoners who would never make their return.
Throughout the visit, discussions will encompass World War II and its far-reaching social, economic, cultural, and political consequences. Furthermore, insights into the historical circumstances that led to this devastating conflict will be covered.
The day will conclude with our return back to Kraków, wrapping up a journey lasting approximately between 7 and 7.5 hours.

Prior to making a reservation, please be aware of the following:
Documentation
- The first and last names on your reservation must correspond to the national ID documents you present on the day of your visit. Any discrepancies will result in denied entry. Separate reservations may lead to different groups or vehicles.
- Tickets cannot be transferred, and only one modification per reservation is permissible, affecting no more than 10% of the party.
Guiding
- Visits to the camp can only be conducted by guides sanctioned by the camp, not by independent guides. The availability of guides and their languages is determined solely by the camp’s administration, and translation into the chosen language may be included in the visit. The pace and length of the tour are regulated by the camp, and may be adjusted due to extreme weather conditions (such as heat or storms).
- Access to the grounds with a guide requires a minimum group size; consequently, if this number is not achieved, the activity could be canceled or postponed.
- The assignment of guides is confirmed by the camp at 3 pm on the day prior to the tour, which means your reservation will not be finalized until a guide has been designated. We will secure entry slots and a guide when the minimum group size is met; however, for last-minute bookings, guides may be unavailable and the activity could be canceled. Ensure that you remain reachable at the contact number provided during reservation for any updates.
Schedule and Meeting Points
During the booking process, a drop-down menu will present various hotels and meeting locations in central Kraków. If your accommodation is not listed, please select the closest hotel or meeting point provided.
Please note that pickup times may vary. The tour could commence anywhere between 5 am and 1:30 pm; thus, times chosen on the website are not guaranteed. The precise pickup time and meeting place will be communicated via email, WhatsApp, or other means the day before your tour. Should the departure time change, we will inform you. Otherwise, your original scheduled time remains unchanged. Plan your day accordingly to accommodate the pickup schedule. Transportation will be provided by bus or minibus, depending on group size.

Important information
On the day of the activity, we'll meet you at the pickup point you chose during the booking process at the time indicated. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes in advance.
The pickup time may change, so you should take this into account when planning your trip. Even if you choose a departure time when you make your reservation, this time is not guaranteed, but we'll try to prioritize it. The exact pickup time will be confirmed via email the day before the activity.
Activity Restrictions
- Bags and backpacks larger than 30x20x10cm are not allowed in the field. They can be left on the bus or in the field locker.
- No person under the influence of alcohol will be allowed to ride the bus.
- Bringing food, having picnics, or littering in the camp is strictly prohibited. We kindly ask visitors to act with respect and common sense. Please remember that Auschwitz is a place where thousands of people lost their lives, and their memory deserves the utmost dignity.
Tour Lunch
During the tour, there are 2 or 3 stops of 10 to 15 minutes. We recommend bringing water with you. During the tour, you can also buy some cans or bottles at the stalls at the entrance of Auschwitz II-Birkenau.
Additional Info
- Due to the large number of visitors, the schedule may be modified. Please, it's essential that you have your mobile device fully operational in case of any such change.
- Visits to the camp are only permitted with guides authorized by the camp. External guides are not allowed. Guide assignments, including language availability, are managed solely by the camp's organization.
- All tour operators require a minimum group size to access the camp with a guide. If the minimum isn’t met, the activity may be canceled or rescheduled.
- We reserve your tickets and assign a guide as soon as the minimum group size is met. But for last-minute bookings, a guide may not be available, and the activity could be canceled.
- However, if there is any change in the departure time of the excursion, we'll notify you at least 15 to 24 hours before the activity.
Required Documentation
In accordance with the requirements of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum, all participants must bring a photo ID with the same names used on the reservation. Entrance may be denied if the name on the reservation does not match the name on the ID.
