Upon booking, you will have the option to select from two distinct private tours departing from Kraków:
Auschwitz Birkenau Day Excursion
Your journey begins between 6 and 8 am with a pickup from your Kraków hotel, after which we will embark for Auschwitz-Birkenau. In just over an hour, you will reach what was the largest Nazi extermination camp during the Second World War. This site has held World Heritage Site status since 1979, serving as a haunting reminder of the Holocaust's atrocities.
The tour starts at the prison blocks, where several exhibitions reveal the punitive measures prisoners faced for minor infractions during their grueling labor. Next, we will proceed to one of the camp's most harrowing sections: the gas chambers and crematoriums. Here, we will uncover the depths of the regime's cruelty, exploring how propaganda influenced individuals to partake in such heinous acts.
As we continue, the tour will lead us to the site of the train tracks, which once brought thousands of people into the camp. Upon arrival, many were selected for immediate extermination, forced labor, or medical experiments. The victims included Jews, Romani people, Spanish Republicans, political dissidents, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
We will also observe the barracks, latrines, and remnants of four crematoria, which were dismantled in an attempt to conceal the camp's horrific legacy from advancing Soviet forces. At the end of the tour, there will be a 45-minute break for lunch before we return to Kraków, arriving at your hotel roughly six and a half hours after departure.
Auschwitz Birkenau, Kraków Ghetto, and Schindler's Factory
If you opt for this experience, the day will begin similarly with a pickup from your Kraków hotel, followed by a visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp to delve into its tragic past.
During the camp tour, we will stop at the Judenrampe. This solemn site was used by the SS until 1944 to forcibly transport Jews from various European countries.
Around 1:30 pm, we will head back to Kraków, pausing at a traditional Polish eatery where you can enjoy lunch independently. Afterward, around 2:45 pm, we will embark on a private English tour of the Kraków Ghetto, exploring areas where the Nazi regime segregated and persecuted the Jewish community.
Next, we will visit Oskar Schindler's Factory, where you will have the opportunity to explore the site that sheltered hundreds of Jews, whom Schindler helped save from near-certain death.
Before concluding the day, we will return to your hotel in Kraków.
Note: This option is not offered on Mondays, the first Tuesday of each month, and on certain holidays.

Important information
Please be ready at the entrance of your hotel 10 minutes before the start of the tour.
The local tour company will email you to confirm your assigned timeslot. The timetable is flexible and depends on the availability of guides and tickets. The most frequent times are between 6 am and 8 am. Please note these hours are flexible.
Afternoon visit
If you would prefer to do the tour in the afternoon or at any other time, you can get in touch with the local tour company to discuss options. An afternoon timeslot is sometimes possible but is always subject to availability—the tour normally takes place in the morning.
Important
- At the time of booking, you must have indicated your names as they appear on your ID cards. Otherwise, you may not be able to enter the place.
- According to Auschwitz rules, please note that in case you need to make changes to your reservation (whether it is a change of date, time, or name change), only one change can be made per reservation. In the case of changing names, only a maximum of 10% of the names can be changed, that is, if there are 20 attendees, only 2 names can be changed.
- In the option combining Auschwitz and Oskar Schindler's Factory, on the day of the activity, you'll have to pay the price of the tickets to the guide so that he can buy them.
- Due to the large number of visitors, the schedule may be modified. It's important that you have your mobile phone fully operational in case of any changes of this kind.
- The camp visit is only permitted with official guides authorized by the museum itself and cannot be conducted with external guides. Guide confirmation is provided 12 to 16 hours before the activity.
- All operators require a minimum group size to be able to access the camp with a guide, so sometimes, if this is not reached, the activity may be cancelled or rescheduled.
- We reserve tickets and secure a guide as soon as the minimum group size is met. However, for last-minute bookings, guide availability cannot be guaranteed, and the activity may be subject to cancellation.
- However, if there is any change in the departure time of the excursion, we'll notify you at least 15-24 hours before the activity.
- The activity will be considered definitively confirmed when you receive a detailed service description from the provider, along with the hotel pick-up time.
- If, for any reason, the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum does not confirm the private tour, the provider will contact you to offer other available alternatives. If none of the proposed options are suitable, you can cancel your reservation free of charge and book the group tour, which is usually more frequently available.
Changes to the Number of Participants
For group bookings of more than 10 people, you may only add up to 10% of the original group size after the reservation is confirmed. For example, if your reservation is for 6 people and you want to add 3 more, that’s fine. However, if your group is between 10 and 19 people, only one additional participant can be added. For groups of 20 to 29, only two extra people can be added.
Please note that canceling and attempting to rebook for a larger group does not guarantee availability. It is highly unlikely that Auschwitz will approve a new reservation for a larger number of participants on nearby dates.
Once a private tour with named tickets has been confirmed, the provider cannot change the time or cancel the tour.
