Description
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Krakow. We'll board a comfortable bus and start our journey. An experienced tour leader will accompany you throughout the tour.

A lunch break will be included during the tour. It is advisable to bring snacks.

Important

- Please remember to bring your ID or passport with you.
- The temperature in the mine is constant (about 14ºC/52ºF), and therefore it's recommended to bring warm clothing even in the summer
- At Wieliczka Salt Mine there are 800 steps on the way, including 380 right at the start
- We recommend wearing comfortable shoes
- The order of the visits may be altered without prior notice.
Restrictions
- Please note that visitors cannot enter the Auschwitz Museum with a backpack or handbag larger than 30x20x10cm. You can either leave it on the bus or store it at the museum’s checkroom.
- Nobody under the influence of alcohol will be allowed to get on the bus.
- Bringing food, picnics, and littering in the concentration camp are strictly prohibited. Above all, please exercise common sense, remember that this is a place where thousands lost their lives, and please behave accordingly. If you're hungry, we recommend eating at the museum's snack bar.
- To take photos during the visit, an additional 10 Polish Slotis (approx. 3 euros) must be paid directly at the mine.
Student Discounts
If you have reserved the tour for students, to benefit from the discount you must show your student ID or passport (to prove you are under 24) and your student card with your name, the name of your university, and the expiry date of the card.
Additional Info
- Due to the large number of visitors, the schedule may be modified. It's important that you have your mobile phone fully operational in case of any changes of this kind.
- Visits to the camp are only permitted with authorized guides, not external ones. Your reservation will be confirmed once the camp assigns a guide, which will happen by 3 pm the day before your visit.
- All operators require a minimum group size to be able to access the camp with a guide, so sometimes, if this is not reached, the activity may be cancelled or rescheduled.
- We reserve tickets and secure a guide as soon as the minimum group size is met. However, for last-minute bookings, guide availability cannot be guaranteed, and the activity may be subject to cancellation.
- However, if there is any change in the departure time of the excursion, we'll notify you at least 15-24 hours before the activity.
