The meeting point for the tour is at the main entrance of the Juliusz S?owacki Theatre, located in Krakow’s central ?wi?tego Ducha Square.
We will commence our exploration with a brief introduction, before diving into the historical ambiance of Krakow's Old Town. The first sights will include the Krakow's Barbican and the City Walls, where insights into the rich history of this impressive defensive structure will be shared. As we pass under St. Florian's Gate, we will stroll along Florianska Street towards the stunning St. Mary's Basilica, taking a moment to admire its remarkable facade before heading to Market Square to view the Adam Mickiewicz Monument.
The tour continues through the old town, where significant landmarks such as St. Adalbert's Church, the Cloth Hall, the Old Town Hall Tower, and the Collegium Maius with its captivating Astronomical Clock await discovery.
Next, we’ll walk to the Archbishop Palace and then proceed to the Krakow Cathedral and Wawel Castle. After taking in the architectural splendors of Poland, we will move on to Kazimierz, the historic Jewish quarter of Krakow. Here, we will explore important sites such as the Tempel Synagogue, New Square, Old Cemetery, the Remu Synagogue, the Jan Karski Monument, and the Monument to the Victims of the Holocaust.
Finally, we will conclude our journey with a visit to the Popper Synagogue and a stroll past the Stara Synagogue, taking some time to appreciate local street art before wrapping up the tour after approximately 3 hours.
