Wawel Castle Tour
Description
Join us on this exploratory tour of Wawel Castle, where we will uncover the essence of one of Krakow's most historic landmarks and venture into its hidden subterranean sections.
Wawel Castle Exploration
Our gathering point will be at 25 Kanonicza, 33-332, where we will commence our exploratory journey through Wawel Castle. Perched atop Wawel Hill, this fortress served as the royal residence in Poland until the late 18th century and stands as a significant symbol of the city.
As we step into the castle's corridors, we will delve into the rich history of Poland. Notably, every Polish monarch who reigned during the 14th to 17th centuries was both crowned and interred within these walls.
Our exploration will take us through the refined halls of this Renaissance-style structure, where the private chambers are adorned with tapestries, chandeliers, and an array of artistic works.
Currently functioning as a museum, the castle showcases items uncovered during archaeological excavations in the area, various models, and a collection of Oriental art.
As our tour nears its conclusion, we will have the opportunity to explore the underground sections of the fortress, where secrets of this renowned location await discovery. The entire experience will span approximately 3.5 hours.
