Join us on a unique day trip from Kraków to Zakopane, the winter capital of Poland, and discover the stunning views of the Tatra Mountains, a tasting of local cheese and vodka, and unwind in thermal springs.
Day Trip Details
We'll pick you up at your hotel in the center of Kraków to begin our journey to Zakopane, approximately a 2 to 2.5-hour drive. Upon arrival, we'll take a 10-minute funicular ride on the Guba?ówka Hill Funicular to enjoy spectacular views of the Tatra Mountains and Zakopane, with about 1.5-2 hours of free time for photos, walking, and lunch at local restaurants or with packed food.
Next, you'll experience a traditional tasting of oscypek cheese, paired with regional vodka, learning about local traditions for half an hour.
Afterward, we'll visit the thermal springs, where you can enjoy naturally warm, mineral-rich waters in both outdoor and indoor thermal pools for 2.5 to 3 hours.
Finally, we'll conclude our day trip back to Kraków, approximately 10 to 11 hours after departure.

Important information
On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up from your hotel in the center of Kraków at the designated time. Please be ready at least 10 minutes beforehand.
If you're not staying in the center, the local team will contact you to organize your pickup.
Important Info
- This activity is not suitable for wheelchair users or people with severe mobility limitations, as it involves walking on uneven surfaces and some stairs. In addition, thermal baths may not be recommended for people with heart problems or pregnant people.
- Large luggage is not permitted; only small backpacks and handbags.
- Please note that the alcohol tasting is available for over-18s only.
Additional Info
- Please note that the weather in Zakopane can change quickly, and temperatures are usually cooler than in Kraków. Rain, wind, or snow may occur even in warmer months
- We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes with a good grip, warm layers (even in spring and summer), and a waterproof jacket or a windbreaker
- In summer, we recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen
- Please bring a bathing suit, a towel, and flip-flops for the thermal baths
