Trip Overview
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Kuala Lumpur, followed by a comfortable bus ride to the Batu Caves. Let’s dive into this enchanting journey!
Upon arrival, you'll enter these caves, which hold special significance as a holy site for Hindus in Malaysia. The impressive golden statue of Murugan will undoubtedly leave you in awe, representing one of the most venerated deities.
You'll enjoy about 1 hour of leisure time to ascend the 272 steps that lead to the main cave, known as the Temple Cave. Inside, you will find a shrine that rewards your climb with a stunning panoramic view of the surroundings!
Your exploration will include a brief stop at a local store offering a variety of souvenirs and snacks for you to take back home.
Your next stop will be the enchanting Genting Highlands, a resort perched high in the hills. Here, you'll have the chance to ride the Awana SkyWay cable car, gliding above the lush Malaysian rainforest while soaking in the breathtaking scenery. On your ascent, a visit to the Chin Swee Chinese Temple is included.
In Genting Highlands, you'll have 4 to 5 hours of free time to explore as you wish. Whether wandering through the resort, trying your luck in the casinos, or discovering various attractions in this vibrant theme-park-like area, the choice is yours.
At the end of the day, we will regroup and commence the return journey to Kuala Lumpur, with drop-off at the starting point approximately 10 hours after departure.
Pickup Information
This tour provides pickup from these hotels in Kuala Lumpur. Kindly note that pickup is unavailable from several areas, including: Pudu, ChowKit, KL Sentral, Brickfields, Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur Chinatown Hotel, Olympic Malaysia Hotel, Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur Hotel, and YWCA Kuala Lumpur Hotel.
Please be aware that pickup is only applicable for reservations of at least 2 persons. For solo travelers, the designated pickup location is Berjaya Times Square, right in front of Starbucks Coffee.
If your pickup location falls outside the coverage area, a minimum additional charge of 50MYR per vehicle will be required (the fee and pickup time vary based on your location). This should be settled directly with the driver in cash.
Changes to Itinerary
Please note that due to maintenance work on the Awana SkyWay cable car, from October 12 to 16, 2026, there will be temporary changes to the tour itinerary:
- Replacement of cable car: the Awana SkyWay route will be swapped with the Genting Skyway cable car.
- Suspended stops: the visit to the Chin Swee Chinese Temple and shopping at Genting Premium Outlets will not be included during this time.

Important information
At the indicated time, the local guide will pick you up from the Kuala Lumpur hotel you provided when making your reservation. Please be ready at least 15 minutes beforehand.
You'll receive the pickup time and the driver’s details by email one day before the activity.
If the vehicle does not arrive within 10 minutes of the scheduled time, please call the emergency contact number: +6019-339 8699.

The itinerary is subject to change due to the weather or traffic conditions on the day of the activity.
During major festivals, expect road closures and heavy traffic.
For the return journey, we can only drop you off at the point closest to your hotel, depending on road conditions at that moment. The exact drop-off point will be determined by the driver.
Itinerary Changes
Due to construction work on the Awana SkyWay cable car, between October 12 and 16, 2026, the tour itinerary will undergo the following temporary modifications:
- Cable car change: the Awana SkyWay route will be replaced by the Genting Skyway cable car.
- Suspended stops: during these days, the stop at the Chin Swee Chinese Temple and the visit to Genting Premium Outlets will not be included.
Additional Info
Short pants and skirts are not permitted inside the Batu Caves. Clothing that covers the knees is recommended.
