Have you ever envisioned discovering the world's oldest rainforest? This is your opportunity with a day excursion to Taman Negara from Kuala Lumpur, which merges trekking with river exploration for an authentic adventure!

Tour Overview

For enthusiasts of nature, it’s time to awaken! Meet at your Kuala Lumpur hotel, where a bus will take you to the verdant jungles of Taman Negara, located in the heart of the Malay Peninsula.

After approximately 4 hours on the bus, we’ll reach Taman Negara National Park. This tropical rainforest dates back 130 million years, encompassing over 4,000 square kilometers (1,544 square miles) and recognized as one of the premier ecotourism sites in the region.

During the booking process, you can select between two experiences:

• Teresek Hill hike: A hike lasting 3 hours that leads to the summit of Teresek Hill (or Indah Hill if maintenance is being conducted on the main trail). At the viewpoint, you’ll enjoy breathtaking vistas of the jungle and Gunung Tahan, which rises to 2,187 meters (7,175 feet).
• Jungle hike and Canopy Walkway: This package includes the hiking trail through the national park and access to the Canopy Walkway, a suspended bridge extending over 500 meters (1,640 feet) at a height of 40 meters (131 feet) that provides spectacular views of the forest canopy.

Whichever option you select, we will conclude the hike with lunch at a local restaurant. Once recharged, we will then journey to the Tembeling River for an exhilarating experience aboard a traditional high-speed Malaysian boat, so be prepared to get drenched!

Our next destination in Taman Negara will be visiting the Orang Asli, a native community who will share insights into their traditional lifestyle, which we will reach by boat.

The day concludes with a return trip to Kuala Lumpur, where you will be dropped off at your hotel approximately 15 hours after our initial pickup.

Pickup Information

This tour includes pickup service from designated hotels in Kuala Lumpur. A complete hotel list is available at .pdf.

It is important to note that pickups are unavailable from the following hotels and areas: Pudu area, Hotel Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur Chinatown, Hotel Olympic Malaysia, Hotel Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, and Hotel YWCA Kuala Lumpur.

Pickup is offered only for reservations of a minimum of 2 passengers. If you are booking for one person, you will be directed to a specified meeting point detailed in the documentation.

For pickups outside the standard area, a fee of at least 50MYR per vehicle will need to be paid directly to the driver in cash. The exact fee and pickup time will be determined based on your location.

Additional Information

For those who have opted for the Canopy Walkway, please note that the bridge may close temporarily due to rainfall or extended periods of heavy rain, as determined by the national park authorities for safety. If it is closed, the activity will be substituted with a hike to Teresek Hill.
