Kyoto Highlights Tour
Our adventure begins at the Keihan Kyoto Hotel, where we’ll board a comfortable bus heading towards the renowned bamboo grove in Arashiyama. Thanks to the exclusive early access tickets, you’ll wander through its serene pathways ahead of the crowds. Embrace the tranquil atmosphere as the bamboo sways softly in the breeze, creating a peaceful sanctuary.
Following our time in the bamboo forest, we proceed to Kinkaku-ji, celebrated as the "Temple of the Golden Pavilion." This stunning temple is famous for its gold-leaf exterior, beautifully mirrored in the surrounding lake. Next, we will explore Nij? Castle, where you’ll learn about the shogunate, the military regime that ruled Japan during the Middle Ages, as we navigate through its various tatami rooms.
Continuing our exploration, the Kiyomizu-dera Temple awaits, offering some of the most breathtaking views of Kyoto from its wooden balcony. You’ll enjoy a guided tour of this iconic site, followed by free time for lunch in the nearby area. After refueling, our journey takes us to Fushimi Inari-taisha, a shrine renowned for its thousands of red torii gates, which create captivating tunnels along the mountainside. Walking through these impressive arches will undoubtedly enhance your Kyoto experience and serve as a fitting conclusion to our Kyoto highlights tour.
We'll wrap up our 10-hour and 45-minute tour at this final location, where we’ll provide guidance on how to return to the Kyoto Station.
Tour Options
When making your reservations, you can choose from the following options:
- Tour without tickets: You will need to purchase tickets separately for Kinkaku-ji (500 JPY per person), Kiyomizu-dera Temple (500 JPY per person), and Nij? Castle (1000 JPY per person).
- Tour with tickets: Selecting this option includes tickets to Kinkaku-ji, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and Nij? Castle.
Potential Closures
Please note that there may be instances where visiting Nijo Castle is not feasible. In such cases, we will substitute this visit with a trip to the Sanj?sangen-d? Temple.

- The itinerary order and schedule may be modified due to reasons beyond our control, such as traffic, weather, local events, or other operational circumstances. However, you'll be guaranteed a complete tour as long as possible.
Partial Closures
At times, it may not be possible to visit Nijo Castle. In that case, we'll visit Sanjūsangen-dō Temple instead.
