A highlight of your journey can be the Fushimi Inari Shrine, a standout landmark in Kyoto famous for its thousands of striking red torii gates and scenic trails. Close by, you may opt to visit the Tofukuji Temple, a Zen temple celebrated for its majestic wooden bridges and stunning gardens—particularly breathtaking during autumn.

Another option is the Sanjusangendo Temple, which is well-known for housing 1,001 statues of Kannon, the goddess of compassion. Alternatively, we can visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that offers breathtaking views of Kyoto.

Afterward, take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka Streets, where you can find traditional boutiques, tea houses, and charming cafes, providing a genuine glimpse into Kyoto's past.

A visit to the Yasaka Shrine is also on the itinerary, renowned for its festive lanterns and vibrant celebrations. Then, we can make our way to Maruyama Park, a serene oasis in the city that blossoms with cherry trees and tranquil ponds—perfect for a short respite to savor the park's beauty before continuing.

An additional site worth including is the Chion-in Temple, which is famous for housing one of Japan's largest temple bells. The striking architecture of this temple is sure to impress!
