Itinerary
Depart on a comfortable air-conditioned bus to Puerto de la Cruz, gateway to Valle de La Orotava. You will have the whole day to explore this significant tourist resort. Puerto de la Cruz is known for its tourist attractions designed by Canarian architect César Manrique, including Playa Jardín and Castillo de San Felipe.
At lunchtime, you can visit the town’s promenade or Plaza del Charco, known for its local restaurants and nearby shops. After lunch, consider visiting Calle de San Telmo, home to a small chapel and Lago Martiánez, a seawater pools complex. Then, discover the Jardín del Sitio Litre, known for its tropical and subtropical plants, where Christie and Humboldt spent time. Also, visit the Jardín de Aclimatación de La Orotava if interested in botany.
After a day in Puerto de la Cruz, return to the bus for transport back to your hotel.
