At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your accommodations in La Fortuna, embarking on a journey to the iconic Arenal Volcano, an essential site during your visit to Costa Rica.

Once we arrive at the national park, you will be greeted by the striking sight of the towering Arenal Volcano, rising nearly 5,500 ft (1,670 meters) above the surrounding rainforest. For those seeking adventure, a hiking path of approximately 4 miles (6 km) leads to the volcano's base. Here, the more adventurous can choose to tread upon the solidified lava fields formed during the last eruption — rest assured, it is currently dormant!

This spectacular viewpoint offers remarkable sights of the famous Arenal Lake. Prepare to be captivated by the rich variety of flora and fauna, as well as intriguing lava formations that characterize this area. Following the hike, there will be some time to relax or savor a delightful meal.

At the conclusion of our experience, we will return to your hotel in La Fortuna, wrapping up the tour after a total duration of 4 hours.

For those located in downtown La Fortuna hotels, specifically between the town center and Secondary National Route 142 towards Tabacón, pickup and drop-off services are included for this excursion.
