Paddleboarding Adventure in La Herradura

We'll meet at a time that suits you at the Andrés Segovia promenade in La Herradura. After collecting the paddleboards and paddles, we will head to the shore to commence an enjoyable aquatic journey.

Once everyone has gathered, we will provide a brief tutorial on how to maintain your balance on the board, along with some paddling techniques to ensure a smooth experience.

As we set off, we'll navigate the waters surrounding La Herradura, making our way towards the cliffs of the Maro-Cerro Gordo natural park. This protected area is characterized by its dramatic coastline and secluded coves. We will encounter the indigenous Mediterranean plant life and, if we are fortunate, we might even observe some of the local raptor species that frequent this region.

Throughout the journey, we will pause on several occasions, allowing you to take a refreshing swim. For the more adventurous, there’s the option to dive from the cliffs into the sea. You can also borrow snorkeling goggles to explore the underwater wonders of La Herradura.

Ultimately, we will return to our starting point, where we will return the paddleboards and wrap up our two-hour journey with a farewell on the beach.

Prerequisites

This tour is fairly challenging, thus having at least one year of prior experience, solid balance, and proficient paddling skills is crucial. Without this background, participation in the activity will not be possible, as you may struggle to keep up with the group.
