Teide Cable Car + Hike Experience
Description
Embark on an adventure to Spain's highest elevation as you explore the majestic volcano that towers at 3718 meters. This experience combines a thrilling cable car ride with a scenic hiking trail, providing breathtaking views and a memorable journey.
Tour Overview
Your journey begins with a convenient bus pickup from designated meeting points at the scheduled time. Our destination will be the stunning Teide National Park, home to the impressive cable car.
The cable car ride lasts around 10 minutes, lifting us over 1000 meters to the top station situated at an altitude of 3555 meters.
Upon arrival, we will soak in the panoramic vistas before setting out on the Telesforo Bravo hiking path that leads us to the volcano's summit. This route requires an official permit, which we will arrange for you, so there's nothing for you to handle.
We will traverse a distance of over half a kilometer as the distinct scent of sulfur fills the air. The vibrant rock formations, stunning landscapes, and the thrill of standing atop Spain's highest peak will create lasting memories.
After approximately 40 minutes of ascent, Teide will be beneath us. On a clear day, the summit rewards us with views of the nearby islands: La Gomera, El Hierro, La Palma, and Gran Canaria.
As we start our descent, we’ll retrace our steps back to the cable car. After our ride back to the base station, the bus will be ready to take us back. The entire experience concludes at the original departure points after around 6 hours.
Reaching the Summit
Be aware that the confirmation of your reservation may not be immediate. A special permit must be secured from the national park for those wishing to ascend Mount Teide.
Upon receiving your reservation, we will process the necessary permits and inform you once the authorization has been granted. If you haven't received a final confirmation within 72 hours, feel free to reach out for an update on the status of the application.
