Teide Stargazing Tour from Northern Tenerife

At the designated hour, a minibus will arrive to collect you from your selected meeting point in Northern Tenerife. Our adventure will take us up to the Teide National Park, recognized as one of the island's most remarkable locations.

Our initial stop is the Teide Observatory, home to one of the world's premier solar telescopes. Established in 1964, this astronomical site offers an insightful tour within its facilities, showcasing its cutting-edge technology.

As we explore the Teide Observatory, you will learn why Tenerife ranks among the top destinations globally for stargazing. Our guides will share insights into the work of astrophysicists at this facility while providing a unique view of the sun through its advanced telescopes.

Furthermore, we will witness the stunning sunset at Mount Teide. With the sun setting behind the volcano's silhouette, enjoy the captivating shades of pink and orange that signify the day's end.

Once the sun goes down, we will arrive at the base station of the Teide cable car, where we will take a 30-minute break to savor a nutritious picnic that includes a sausage and cheese sandwich, a sweet treat, and a bottle of water or soft drink.

Afterward, you will have 1 hour and 15 minutes to use long-range telescopes to identify numerous constellations in the night sky. Learn how to locate the North Star and explore the connections between Greek mythology and the stars.

At the conclusion of our 8-hour experience, we will return you to the starting point.
