Experience a full day immersing yourself in the world of Bolivian coffee through our tour in Coroico, all while uncovering the essence of this vibrant region.

Coroico Coffee Tour

Your journey begins with a convenient pickup from your La Paz hotel, scheduled between 7 am and 7:30 am. From there, we'll travel towards the breathtaking Yungas region, located approximately 40 miles (65 kilometers) from the city.

As we navigate the renowned Yungas Road, also known as Camino de la Muerte (Death Road), we will reach the picturesque town of Coroico. This beloved destination is known as the most frequented town along Bolivia’s coffee route. At roughly 12 noon, we’ll pause for a traditional meal featuring soup, meat or salad, along with dessert and coffee. Afterwards, you’ll have two hours of free time to wander and experience the town at your own pace.

When everyone has regrouped, we will proceed to visit the coffee plantations for an informative guided tour. Over the next three hours, we will explore the coffee plantations and observe a demonstration of the coffee bean roasting. Renowned for its distinctive flavor, Bolivian coffee is often likened to Colombian coffee, a favorite among coffee enthusiasts worldwide.

Our adventure will conclude as we return to La Paz, aiming to arrive around 7 pm. The day will wrap up at the scenic San Francisco Square.

Pickup Information

The tour includes pickup from hotels located in the historic center of La Paz. For those whose accommodations are situated outside this area, please arrange to meet us at San Francisco Square by 7 am.
