Tour Overview

Day 1: Departure from La Paz to Uyuni

Our journey begins at 8 pm on Avenida Uruguay in La Paz, where we will board a bus heading towards Uyuni. Dinner will be served on the bus during the overnight ride.

Day 2: Exploring Uyuni

Upon arrival in Uyuni at approximately 7 am, breakfast awaits you at a nearby café. Afterward, we'll embark on a jeep tour to the Uyuni Salt Flat.

En route, we'll make a stop at the train cemetery, a fascinating site filled with abandoned locomotives from the 19th century, perfect for capturing artistic photographs. Continuing our adventure, we'll visit Colchani, home to a salt iodization facility. Here, you'll gain insights into the extraction and processing of salt during our engaging visit.

Our exploration continues through some of Bolivia's most stunning landscapes, leading us to the Dakar monument and the Playa Blanca salt hostel.

The day culminates at Incahuasi Island, located in the heart of the salt flat, famous for its towering cacti. Together, we’ll witness a breathtaking sunset as we stroll through this unique natural environment.

We will spend the night at a hostel in Uyuni.

Day 3: Uyuni to Huayllajara

After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hostel, we set off towards the stunning Colorada Lagoon. On our way, we will visit the beautiful Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiacorta lagoons, explore the Siloli Desert, and marvel at the Stone Tree, a remarkable natural monument known for its distinctive shape.

A lunch break will be taken at a restaurant in Paso del Inca, and by 4 pm, we’ll arrive at the Colorada Lagoon. Keep an eye out for the vibrant flamingos! We will then check into our hostel in the community of Huayllajara for the night.

Day 4: Huayllajara to Salvador Dali Desert and back to Uyuni

Following breakfast, we’ll head to Sol de Mañana, a site renowned for its active volcanic features that captivate visitors. Next, we will relax at the Chalviri Hot Springs and explore the Salvador Dali Desert, characterized by its vibrant rock formations. Finally, we will take in the views from the Verde and Blanca Lagoon viewpoints and the Lincancabur volcano, which straddles the border with Chile.

Afterward, we will make our way back to Uyuni, where we will board a bus for the return journey to La Paz.

Day 5: Arrival in La Paz

After a night of travel, we will arrive back in La Paz around 6:30 am.
