In this whale-watching activity in Samaná, you will experience a key attraction of the Dominican Republic and relax in Cayo Levantado and Rincón Beach.
Whale Watching Details
At the specified time, pickup will occur at your hotel, and you will head to the village of Las Cañitas to board a boat for whale watching. The trip will take approximately 2.5 hours in the humpback whale sanctuary, during which interesting facts about whales will be shared.
After returning to the mainland, travel will continue to Rincón Beach, noted as the best beach in Samaná, where you will have 2 hours of free time to relax. A typical lunch is available at a beachfront restaurant.
The tour will conclude with a return to the dock for a boat trip to Cayo Levantado, where you can unwind on its white sandy beaches. Afterward, you will return to the starting point and be taken back to your hotel after an 11-hour excursion.
Pickup Times and Hotels
The excursion includes pickup at designated hotels in the Dominican Republic. For those staying at the Bahia Principe La Romana or Bahia Principe Bouganville hotels, pickup will be at 5 am, with an additional supplement of 45 USD per person required for these pickups.
