Komodo Island 2 Day Tour

Day 1: Labuan Bajo - Bidadari – Rinca – Padar – Kalong

After being picked up at your hotel or the Labuan Bajo airport, the tour heads to the western part of the island to board a ferry to Bidadari Island. Upon disembarking, you will have free time to snorkel in the crystal-clear waters.

The journey proceeds south to Rinca Island, where a two-hour hiking trail awaits. This is your chance to see the famous Komodo Dragons in their natural habitat. Their impressive size has inspired countless myths, and now you can see them for yourself. Keep an eye out for local wildlife, including exotic birds and mammals that can be spotted along the trail.

After the guided hike on Rinca, we return on board and set course for Padar Island. Here, we will climb to the highest peak for stunning panoramic views of this beautiful island. Dinner will be served on board as we head towards Kalong Island, known for its large flying foxes, the world's biggest bat species, which can weigh up to 1.6 kg.

The day concludes with dinner on the boat, where we will spend the night.

Day 2: Komodo Island – Labuan Bajo

After breakfast on board, we will disembark at Komodo Island, home to the colossal reptiles historically known as 'dragons'. You can enjoy close encounters with the local wildlife, followed by a visit to Pink Beach, another of the island's natural attractions. Lunch will be enjoyed on board the boat, and afterwards, you'll have the opportunity to snorkel in the clear waters of Komodo, where you might spot a manta ray!

Finally, we will return to Labuan Bajo. After disembarking at 4 PM, your guide will take you back to your hotel.

Komodo Island Tour: Hotel

Day 1: Labuan Bajo – Kelor – Rinca – Padar – Kalong – Labuan Bajo

After picking you up at your hotel or Labuan Bajo airport, we will travel by road to the boat departing for Kelor Island. After some free time to snorkel off its coast, we'll head to Rinca Island for a two-hour guided hike to observe the renowned Komodo Dragons and learn about their habitat and behavior up close.

After lunch on board, we sail through the clear waters of the Flores Sea towards Padar Island, where its stunning tropical landscapes await. We will then visit Kalong Island to witness the famous flying fox bats before returning to Labuan Bajo for dinner and overnight accommodation in a four-star hotel along its western coast.

Day 2: Labuan Bajo – Bidadari – Komodo Island – Labuan

With energy renewed, we set sail from Labuan Bajo to Bidadari Island, where you can snorkel in the inviting waters and appreciate the diverse marine life. Following this, we will proceed to the iconic Komodo Island, offering one of the best opportunities to see dragons in their natural environment. After a meal on board, we will visit the renowned Pink Beach, with the chance to swim with manta rays, if luck is on your side!

With unforgettable memories of Indonesian wildlife, we will return to the western port of Labuan Bajo by 4 PM, where a minibus will be ready to take you back to your hotel or airport, as per your preference.

How does it work?

No matter which option you choose, to take this tour you should book an international flight to Komodo airport, also known as Labuan Bajo Airport (LBJ). You can arrange your return flight for 6 PM the day after the tour begins. For instance, if you join the tour on Monday morning, you can schedule your return flight for Tuesday evening.

Pick Up

The tours include pick-up from the airport and hotels on Western Flores Island. If you are staying in another area of the island, please indicate this when making your reservation to confirm your pick-up arrangements.

Children

Note that the ticket price for children aged 3-7 applies only when two adults are booking within the same reservation. If the booking is for one adult and one child, both tickets will be charged at the adult rate.
