Our journey begins at the designated meeting point at the Quinta da Portela de Baixo winery in Lamego, where an insightful guided tour awaits. Are you prepared to explore the intricacies of Portuguese wine? Let’s embark!

Upon arrival at the winery, you'll be captivated by the scenic landscape that sprawls over 15 hectares (37 acres) of vineyards. Following this, we will venture into a guided tour of the winery's infrastructure. You will get a glimpse of the wine production and storage area as well as the Cellar Museum, where the rich history of Port wine is unveiled, providing insight into its unique production methods.

Depending on the weather, our next stop will either be the gardens or a scenic observation room, where we will sample six different wines crafted at the Quinta da Portela de Baixo winery. The selection includes sparkling wine, DOC Douro white and red varietals, and three distinct types of Port wine. A delightful experience not to miss! During the tasting, we will enjoy regional delicacies such as bôla, olive oil, cheeses, and jams to complement the wines.
