Kayak Experience Overview
The adventure commences at Cala del Cuervo, nestled in the serene village of Las Negras in Almeria. After a concise 15-minute orientation on proper kayaking techniques, we will embark on our guided journey. Paddling along the breathtaking coastline of Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, we head towards Playazo de Rodalquilar Beach.
During the route, we will glide past iconic landmarks such as San Ramón Castle, as well as the intriguing Cuervo (Raven) and Palomas (Doves) Caves. Our knowledgeable guide will share captivating insights into the area's rich history, diverse geography, and local wildlife. A support boat will accompany us throughout the tour for added safety.
This kayaking expedition leads us to the serene cove of Cala del Bergantín, where we will pause for approximately 40 minutes to immerse ourselves in the crystal-clear waters. After soaking up the beauty of this hidden gem, we will paddle back to Cala del Cuervo to conclude our trip.
Memorable Keepsakes
Throughout the kayak journey, we will capture moments and create a photo report of your experience. Post-tour, you will receive an internet link to access and download the photos approximately two hours after the adventure ends, ensuring you have a cherished memory of this remarkable day.
Requirements for Participation
- Participants must be able to swim and kayak independently.
- This activity may not be suitable for individuals with limited physical fitness, certain medical conditions, mobility impairments, or for those who are pregnant.

The weight limit per kayak is 260 kg (573 pounds), accommodating a maximum of 4 participants per kayak.
Starting Point
The tour generally initiates at Cala del Cuervo in Las Negras. In the event of adverse weather conditions, an alternative meeting point may be designated, such as La Fabriquilla Beach or Agua Amarga Beach. Changes to the meeting location will be communicated the day prior to the scheduled tour.

Important information
Please meet up with the guide 30 minutes before the scheduled start time at Cala del Cuervo beach, located in the community of Las Negras in Almería. The guide will be wearing clothing with the logo "Cabo de Gata Activo". Please be punctual.
We recommend that you bring the following equipment on the day of the tour: a swimming suit, a t-shirt to wear under the lifejacket, closed-toe sandals, trainers, sun cream, sun hat or cap, and sunglasses.

Meeting Point Changes
This activity usually begins from Cala del Cuervo in Las Negras. If weather conditions are unfavourable, the tour may begin from another nearby meeting point, such as La Fabriquilla beach or Agua Amarga beach. If the meeting point changes, you'll be informed the day before the excursion.
