Details of the Kayak Adventure

Your journey begins at Cala del Cuervo, located in the serene village of Las Negras within Almeria. After a brief introduction lasting 15 minutes focusing on proper kayaking techniques, we will set off on our guided exploration. Our route will take us along the picturesque shoreline of Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, heading towards the beautiful Playazo de Rodalquilar Beach.

While paddling, we’ll cruise past significant sites like San Ramón Castle and the intriguing Cuervo (Raven) and Palomas (Doves) Caves. Your guide will share captivating stories relating to the area's history, geography, and wildlife throughout the trek. A support boat will accompany us at all times, ensuring your safety and comfort.

We’ll then arrive at Cala del Bergantín beach cove, where we’ll take a break of approximately 40 minutes to enjoy the clear, emerald waters. After this delightful interlude in our hidden paradise, we’ll paddle back to our original departure point at Cala del Cuervo.

Photo Memories

During the kayaking excursion, we will capture memorable photographs of your adventure. Two hours following the tour, we will share a link to an online album, allowing you to access and download the images, creating an everlasting reminder of this unique day.

Activity Guidelines

• Children under 4 years old and adults over 75 are not permitted to participate.
• Participants must be able to swim and paddle a kayak independently.
• This activity is not recommended for individuals with limitations in physical fitness, existing health conditions, mobility issues, or for pregnant individuals.

• The maximum weight limit per kayak is 260 kg (573 pounds), accommodating up to 4 individuals per kayak.

Starting Point

The activity generally starts at Cala del Cuervo in Las Negras. In case of unsatisfactory weather conditions, we may shift the meeting location to another nearby site, such as La Fabriquilla Beach or Agua Amarga Beach. Should there be any changes to the meeting point, you will be notified the day prior to the tour.
