Buggy Adventure Overview

At the scheduled time, we will gather at the Puerto Plaza Hotel & Shops. Our journey kicks off from this central location in Las Terrenas, setting the stage for an unforgettable buggy adventure across the Samaná Peninsula.

As we navigate the rugged paths in our buggies, we will encounter stunning rivers, picturesque beaches, and charming villages, showcasing the breathtaking tropical landscapes of the region. The Samaná Peninsula is rich with coffee, cacao, and tobacco plantations, all of which play significant roles in the heritage of this Caribbean paradise.

We will pause at a traditional local home to savor a traditional Dominican meal, featuring a variety of culinary delights representative of the area. Once we finish our meal, we will continue our exploration by riding through the Samaná countryside, discovering additional coffee, cacao, and tobacco fields.

Throughout our excursion, we will visit several plantations, allowing you to witness the production processes of organic coffee and cacao. You will also learn about the craftsmanship behind the renowned Dominican cigars, a skill that has been refined and passed down through generations.

Ultimately, we will return to our starting point with our buggies, bringing this enriching 6-hour experience to a close.

Key Information

Each buggy accommodates up to 4 individuals: one driver and three passengers, who may rotate driving responsibilities if the necessary criteria are met.

To operate the buggy, participants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
