Embark on a day excursion to the Valley of Fire State Park originating from Las Vegas, where you will explore the oldest state park in Nevada and its stunning red-hued landscapes. This destination is truly an essential visit!

Day Trip Overview

At the arranged time, our team will collect you from your specified meeting location in Las Vegas, kicking off our adventure to the remarkable Valley of Fire.

After roughly an hour of travel, we will reach the magnificent Valley of Fire State Park, characterized by its awe-inspiring red sandstone formations and dunes. Here, we will initiate a guided exploration, delving into the spectacular colors of this geological masterpiece while enjoying scenic desert walks. You'll discover that this valley held significant spiritual importance for various Native American tribes, a story you’ll learn about from your guide, who will show you historic petroglyphs.

Next, we will stop briefly at the iconic Beehives for photographs, as well as the grand Elephant Rock. Depending on the season, our path will either lead us to the Fire Wave trail or Rainbow Vista, complemented by a drive along Mouse's Tank Road. The Fire Wave trail is a favored 1.5-mile (2.4 km) journey renowned for its undulating bands of red, pink, and white sandstone that mimic the flow of an ocean wave. Meanwhile, the Rainbow Vista offers a family-friendly hike with stunning views of Fire Canyon, showcasing rocks in vibrant hues, and Mouse's Tank Road is a picturesque, 5.7-mile (9.17 km) paved roadway celebrated for its serpentine drive through brilliant red rock formations.

Afterward, our visit will include a stop at the modernized Valley of Fire Visitor Center, where we will delve into the park's distinctive geology, local heritage, and diverse plant and animal life.

We will conclude our exploration by returning to Las Vegas, arriving at your selected drop-off point approximately six hours after departure.

During the reservation process, you will be able to choose your pickup point from the following options:

• Excalibur Hotel
• Horseshoe Hotel
• Treasure Island

Please note, at the conclusion of the tour, you will be dropped off at either Treasure Island, Park MGM, or Excalibur Hotel.

Important Additional Information

Depending on the season, following our visit to the Beehives and Elephant Rock, our route will include either the Fire Wave trail (from November to April) or Rainbow Vista along with Mouse's Tank Road (from May to October).
