Sossego Waterfall Expedition

Commencing at 8:30 am, our journey will begin with a pickup from your accommodation in Lençóis, navigating through the picturesque vistas of Chapada Diamantina, renowned for its unparalleled beauty in the Bahia state of Brazil.

Upon arrival, we'll embark on a scenic 7-km (4.3 miles) trek. This path will reveal the area's impressive landscapes, featuring mountains, rivers, and lush forests that showcase the region's pristine nature. Be sure to have your camera on hand to capture some exceptional panoramic sights.

Just before reaching the waterfall, a pause at Ribeirão de Cima invites you for a rejuvenating dip in the natural pools! Here, while you swim, you will be surrounded by breathtaking views of your stunning environment.

We'll then proceed to the stunning Sossego Waterfall. Once there, take a moment to relish the tranquility of this renowned waterfall. It’s recognized as one of the most celebrated waterfalls within the Chapada Diamantina region.

As we conclude our visit, we will retrace our steps, returning to Lençóis by approximately 1:30 pm.
