Description

Explore the significance and evolution of the electricity sector in Andorra while visiting the church of Sant Miquel d'Engolasters on this enlightening journey.

Tour Overview

At the agreed time, you'll be collected from your chosen pickup location. From there, we will commence our bus journey to delve into the history of electricity in Andorra.

Your first destination will be the MW Electricity Museum. Here, you will step back in time to uncover the origins of electricity generation within the country and its impact on development.

Next, we will traverse the Engolasters hydroelectric route, where we will visit the Lake Engolasters Dam. This visit will enlighten you on how water serves as a vital energy resource.

After this, take a moment to relish the stunning vistas surrounding the lake, positioned at an elevation of 1620 meters, before we proceed to the Romanesque Church of Sant Miquel d'Engolasters. Here resides the second-highest bell tower in the principality, offering remarkable panoramic views of the Andorra la Vella valley and Escaldes-Engordany.

Ultimately, we will return to the pickup locations, arriving around 1:50 pm to 2:00 pm.
