Tour Overview
Prepare yourself to navigate the breathtaking landscapes of the Costa Brava. Our meeting point is at the Espigó de Llevant, from where we will board a traditional fishing vessel that will transport us from Estartit toward the Medes Islands and Montgrí Natural Park.
As we set sail, we will glide along the stunning shoreline of Montgrí Natural Park, renowned for its secluded coves, towering cliffs, and historic sites waiting to be revealed. Keep your camera handy to capture the beautiful scenery! Aboard the Núria, a charming boat that once belonged to local fishermen, we will explore the park’s natural caves and tunnels, including the iconic Roca Foradada.
Following that, our journey takes us to the Medes Islands Natural Reserve, historically known as a pirate hideout, and recognized as one of the most beautiful locations along the Estartit coastline. Through the viewing windows of the boat, you will be able to observe the colorful marine life thriving beneath the surface. During the summer months, we will also pause for you to enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters.
After an enriching hour-and-a-half on the water, we will make our way back to the starting point to conclude our adventure. Until next time!

Important information
On the day of the activity, we’ll meet at the Espigó de Llevant in Estartit. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the tour starts.
Important
- Once the tour begins, only the skipper has the authority to decide whether to return to port or shorten the trip due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
- If the sea is rough, we cannot guarantee entry into the cave for safety reasons.
- During the summer, we usually make a brief stop for a swim, but if the skipper determines there are dangerous currents or if the stop could prevent us from completing the route due to an upcoming weather change, we may skip it.
- The skipper also has the discretion to deny boarding to passengers who, in their judgment, may cause problems due to alcohol or drug consumption, bad behavior, or offensive language towards other passengers or crew members.
- Boarding may also be denied if you do not present your ticket or proof of purchase, or if it does not match the date and time of departure or the number and type of passengers (adults or children, as specified at the time of purchase).
