Day 1: Arrival in Lhasa

Your adventure commences with a pickup from Lhasa Airport or the central train station, followed by a transfer to your accommodation in Lhasa, the spiritual heart of Tibet. Take this time to relax and prepare for the immersive explorations that await you in this remarkable region.

Day 2: Discovering Lhasa

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, a guided exploration of Lhasa begins, a city revered as Tibet's religious and administrative hub since the 17th century. Your first stop will be the Potala Palace, the impressive former winter residence of the Dalai Lama. Your knowledgeable English-speaking guide will share captivating stories about this iconic site as you wander through the White Palace and Red Palace.

Your journey continues to the Jokhang Temple, the spiritual core of Tibet, where you'll witness devoted pilgrims engaging in Buddhist rituals, allowing for a deeper understanding of Tibetan spirituality.

Next, you'll explore the vibrant Barkhor district, known for its bustling old market and as a vital stop on the pilgrimage route to Jokhang Temple. Engage with local culture by enjoying a traditional Tibetan tea alongside the residents.

The evening culminates with a welcome dinner at a local restaurant, introducing you to the delicious flavors of Tibetan cuisine. A true gastronomic delight!

Day 3: Lhasa – Dadong – Lhasa

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll journey to the charming ancient village of Dadong, regarded as one of the most picturesque locales near Lhasa. Upon arrival, you’ll explore the remarkable Nyimatang Monastery, which dates back to the 11th century.

Wander through Dadong’s quaint streets, where you'll have the chance to connect with a local family, gaining insights into their daily lives before sharing a traditional meal with them, enhancing your cultural experience.

Your adventure continues at the Sera Monastery, famous for its majestic Buddha paintings and intricate sand mandalas. Witness the lively debates among resident monks, a fascinating aspect of Tibetan monastic culture.

As the day comes to a close, we return to our hotel in Lhasa to unwind.

Day 4: Journey to Shigatse

On the fourth day, after breakfast, bid farewell to Lhasa as you head towards Shigatse, aptly named the "Gateway to Everest." The drive takes you through breathtaking Himalayan landscapes. Crossing the breathtaking Gangbala Pass at 16,400 feet, you'll capture stunning views of Yamdrok Lake and the sacred Nyenchen Khangsar.

As you continue through the Tibetan countryside, arrive at the historic town of Gyantse, where panoramic views of the Korola Glacier and Manak Dam Lake await you. Here, you’ll visit the Palcho Monastery, home to the renowned multi-tiered stupa, the Kumbum, housing numerous Buddhist chapels.

Conclude your day with a guided tour of Shigatse before checking into your hotel for the night.

Day 5: From Shigatse to Everest Base Camp

Following breakfast, discover the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, founded by the first Dalai Lama in the 15th century, known for its well-preserved statue of the Jampa Buddha.

Your adventure leads you from Shigatse to Lhatse, where you'll pause for a meal before returning to the breathtaking Mount Everest Nature Reserve. Be prepared to be awed by magnificent views from the Gawula, or Pang-La, Mountain Pass.

As the day concludes, camp in Rongbuk, positioned beside the Base Camp of the world’s tallest mountain, ensuring a unique night of experiences!

Day 6: Rongbuk - Everest Base Camp - Kyirong

Experience one of the most magical moments of your tour: watching the sunrise over Mount Everest.

Your journey continues with a visit to the Rongbuk Monastery, reputedly the highest monastery in the world, before proceeding to Everest Base Camp, an unforgettable adventure.

After savoring your time at Mount Everest, embark on the scenic route towards Kyriong, passing by glistening lakes like Paikutso and majestic snow-capped peaks such as Shishapangma, where you’ll spend your final night in the heart of the Himalayas.

Day 7: Kyirong - Border with Nepal

Your weeklong expedition concludes with a transfer to the border between Tibet and Nepal, marking the end of your remarkable journey (border crossing not included).

Accommodation and Meals

Your 7-day tour includes 6 nights of accommodation:

• Lhasa (3 nights): Tibet Gang-gyan Lhasa Hotel (4 stars)
• Shigatse (1 night): Shigatse Hotel (3 stars)
• Rongbuk (1 night): Albergue Rongbuk Monastery Guesthouse
• Kyirong (1 night): Phuntsho Khangsar Hotel (3 stars, breakfast not included)

The package provides breakfast on five days, excluding the last day, and a welcome dinner on the second day. Other meals are not included and need to be covered independently.

Essential Information

• A special permit is required to enter Tibet. Please provide your passport details during the booking process. You’ll receive the Tibet Entry Permit approximately eight working days later. Ensure you have your passport & Chinese visa with you during the trip.
• Airport or train station pickup is available at 10 am, 1:30 pm, and 5 pm.
• Transfer back to the airport or train station is available at 6:30 am, 8 am, or 12 pm.
• If you require a pickup or drop-off outside the specified times, we will coordinate the arrangements for you.

Pricing Information

Minimum of two participants required for tours. If you book alone and no one else is joining on the same dates, you can either:

1. Pay an extra fee for a solo tour
2. Reschedule for another available date at no extra cost

For group bookings with an uneven number of participants, please complete the process in the following manner:

1. First, reserve the double room(s)
2. Then, book the single room(s)
