Tour Overview

Your journey will begin with a pickup from your accommodation in Lima at the designated time, followed by a westward trip towards Callao. Here, you'll encounter some notable graffiti and art galleries.

The first stop on our itinerary is the Royal Felipe Fortress, a colonial stronghold that represents resilience against maritime challenges since the eighteenth century. As we stroll along its formidable stone perimeter, we will pass the Museum of Arms, the King's Tower—offering panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean—and the Governor's House.

Just a short distance away, we’ll observe a replica of the Casa de la Respuesta, a poignant site commemorating the courageous declaration of Francisco Bolognesi to fight “until the last cartridge is burned”. In front of this landmark, a monument honors the unknown soldier, paying homage to the brave but nameless heroes of Peru.

Our next destination will be La Punta, where one of Callao's most charming and serene neighborhoods awaits. We'll meander through its historic streets, taking in the stunning mansions that adorn the area. It will feel as though you are walking through an open-air art gallery where history harmoniously intersects with contemporary life! We’ll also take time to unwind and appreciate the breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and its coastline, providing a tranquil conclusion to our excursion.

Ultimately, we will return to Lima's hotels, completing the tour after approximately 4 hours.
