Details of the Day Trip

At the scheduled time, our team will collect you from your accommodation in Lima to begin our journey to the Ica region, nestled along Peru's southern coast. Are you prepared to delve into a remarkable adventure filled with history, nature, and intrigue?

We'll pause along the route for you to enjoy a breakfast break. After approximately 3 hours on the road, we will arrive at Paracas, where a boat tour to the Ballestas Islands awaits, showcasing its stunning biodiversity.

For about 2 hours, we will cruise through the archipelago, taking in the remarkable wildlife. Amidst this vibrant and picturesque setting, look out for various bird species, sea lions, and, if fortune favors you, possibly even Humboldt penguins!

Following our exploration of the Ballestas Islands, we will make our way to the Nazca aerodrome, where you'll embark on a scenic flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines. These extraordinary geoglyphs, some extending to 656 feet (200 meters), spread across the desert and reveal their true grandeur only from the sky. During this 30 to 35-minute aircraft journey, prepare to witness these ancient designs that continue to baffle historians.

After the flight, we'll travel to the Huacachina Oasis, a stunning and unexpected retreat amid the harsh Peruvian Desert. Here, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy lunch. Following your meal, we will embark on a 1-hour buggy tour across the dunes, culminating in an exhilarating sandboarding adventure.

Once we conclude this thrilling experience, we will begin the return trip to Lima, where we will drop you off at your hotel after this memorable 16.5-hour adventure.
