Trip to Huancaya by Night Bus

Trip Overview

At the agreed-upon time, we will collect you from the designated meeting point and leave the hustle of Lima behind as we make our way to Huancaya aboard a comfortable night bus. Get ready for a breathtaking experience in this enchanting mountain range!

Following a 10-hour journey, we'll arrive at our destination, where there will be time to freshen up before the day's adventures commence. You may wish to enjoy a local breakfast, the perfect way to recharge for the day ahead.

Our exploration starts in the town of Huancaya, where we'll take a leisurely walk around the area. A scenic 15-minute stroll will take us to the Calincanto colonial bridge, where we can admire the beauty of the Cabracancha waterfall. Next, we’ll visit the Carhuayno viewpoint, offering breathtaking views of the shimmering lakes that dot the landscape. These vistas are sure to leave you in awe!

Continuing our adventure, we will hike towards the Huallhua Lagoon. After a downhill trek of 25 minutes, we’ll arrive at this enchanting location, where a 40-minute boat ride awaits. Surrounded by pristine waters, majestic mountains, and cascading waterfalls, you'll feel immersed in a true paradise.

To return to our transport, we’ll undertake a 40-minute uphill walk back. Once we’re back in the village, we'll head towards the Plaza de Armas, where you can indulge in some local dishes during your free time for lunch.

Having enjoyed a delightful meal, we will begin our return trip to Lima. Along the route, we'll pause at Piquecocha Lagoon, a perfect spot to capture some memorable photographs. There will also be an additional stop for you to pick up snacks for the journey home.

Finally, we will arrive in Lima, where we will bid farewell at the meeting point around 11:30 pm.
