Journey Through the Algarve

Gather at Praça Marquês de Pombal at the designated time as we bid farewell to Lisbon and venture toward southern Portugal, renowned for its breathtaking golden coastlines of the Algarve.

After a scenic two-and-a-half-hour drive, we will reach Lagos, where the stunning rock formations of Ponta da Piedade will greet us. This remarkable natural site is sure to leave you in awe, resembling a setting from an entirely different realm! Here, you will have some time to soak in the views or take a boat ride through the caves before we proceed with our adventure.

Our next destination is Praia do Camilo, nestled between dramatic cliffs and often hailed as one of the most beautiful beaches globally. Following this, we will head to Portimão, where you'll enjoy another two hours at Praia da Rocha, perfect for swimming and lounging on its fine sand.

The much-anticipated moment arrives with our visit to the iconic Benagil Caves. Renowned worldwide, this unique rock formation will surely leave a lasting impression. Here, you will have the opportunity to embark on a boat or kayak tour to witness the spectacular cave up close. You will also find time to indulge in the area's local cuisine, featuring fresh fish and seafood.

As we conclude our journey, we will make a stop in Albufeira, historically significant as the landing site of Amazigh troops in 700 AD. You will visit Praia da Marinha, regarded as one of Portugal's most stunning beaches, offering breathtaking views of its limestone cliffs and natural arches.

Eventually, we will head back to Lisbon, returning to our starting point approximately 12 hours after we set out.
