Night Trip to Fátima + Candlelight Procession

On this evening trip to Fátima, participants will experience one of the most significant Marian sites globally and attend the renowned Candlelight Procession.

Details of the Trip

We'll gather at Praça Marquês de Pombal, where our adventure begins as we board the minibus for our journey to Fátima.

Approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes later, we will arrive at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima, a prominent pilgrimage location. Our first destination will be the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary. Within its grounds, we will encounter the impressive memorials dedicated to the three young shepherds who reported divine interactions with the Virgin Mary in 1917.

We will also visit the Sanctuary of the Holy Trinity and the Chapel of the Apparitions, where a pedestal indicates the precise site of the Virgin Mary's appearances. At this sacred location, the enchanting Candlelight Procession begins at 9:30 pm. This procession features the original statue of the Virgin of Fátima, accompanied by the recitation of the Rosary.

Following the procession, which lasts around 1 hour and 15 minutes, we will begin our return to Lisbon, reaching the original meeting point approximately 5 hours after departure.
