Wine Tasting Overview

The event takes place at Taylor's Port, a renowned wine establishment in Lisbon's Alfama neighbourhood, operated by the Taylor's brand itself. Established in 1692, this winery specializes in producing exceptional Porto wines.

We will kick off the tasting with an LBV (Late Bottled Vintage) wine. Following that, you'll savor a 10-year-aged ruby Porto Tawny that has matured beautifully in oak barrels. To round off the tasting, a glass of refreshing Chip Dry Porto white awaits.

As we enjoy each pour, discussions will revolve around the wine production process in Porto and the intriguing history of Taylor's. You will also uncover fascinating insights into wine culture in Portugal.

The session, lasting approximately an hour, will culminate with a delightful pairing, providing the perfect finishing touch!

Pairing Options

During your booking, you can select one of the following pairings:

• Tasting paired with pastel de nata: indulge in the traditional Portuguese custard tart, known for its rich cream filling and flaky pastry.
• Tasting paired with chocolate: savor premium Vinte Vinte chocolates for a richer flavor experience.

Operating Hours

You can participate in the tasting at your convenience, during the opening hours of the wine bar: Monday to Sunday, from 11 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 7:30 pm.

Special Opening Hours

• December 24 and 31: the tasting room opens at 11 am, with final entries up until 5 pm.
• December 25: closed for the holiday.
• January 1: the tasting room opens at 12 pm, with last admission at 7 pm.
