Chobe National Park Day Trip from Livingstone
Description
Travel to Chobe National Park in Botswana and discover one of the greatest concentrations of elephants in Africa. You will also spot majestic lions, tall giraffes, and huge hippos in their natural habitat.
Itinerary
After collecting you from your hotel in Livingstone, we will start the one and a half hour journey to Chobe National Park in Botswana.
Chobe was the first national park in Botswana and is located next to the borders with Zambia and Zimbabwe. During this complete day tour, we will travel around the area of Serondela, situated in the extreme northeast of the reserve.
We take a boat trip along the Chobe river to observe the animals that come to the banks to make use of the water – elephants, hippos, buffalos, ibis, and much more. Then, we will recover with a tasty lunch at a riverside hotel.
Having rested and recuperated, we then begin our safari across the plains. We will enjoy the tranquil landscapes of this area of the Chobe National Park, frequented by giraffes, various species of monkeys, and antelopes. If we are lucky, we will also see lions and leopards!
After a day discovering the natural wealth of Chobe park, we head back to the hotels in Livingstone.
