Day Trip to Florence and Pisa

At the designated time, we’ll meet you at Via Claudio Cogorano 1, the location in downtown Livorno where cruise ship shuttles drop off tourists. We will then embark on a scenic 75-minute drive to Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance!

Upon arrival in Florence, you will have around 2 hours of leisure time to explore the must-see landmarks of this Tuscan capital. Stroll through Duomo Square, where you can gaze at the magnificent dome created by Brunelleschi, the stunning Campanile of Giotto, and the historic Baptistery of San Giovanni.

Be sure to visit Piazza della Signoria, wander along the paths once taken by Dante Alighieri, and cross the renowned Ponte Vecchio, an emblem of the city. Additionally, consider exploring one of the renowned museums in Florence and indulging in the local cuisine at the San Lorenzo market.

Following our time in Florence, we will reconvene and board the bus for our next stop, arriving approximately an hour later in Pisa. Here, we will visit the Piazza dei Miracoli, the city’s most famous location. At this iconic site, you’ll encounter the majestic Duomo, the exquisite Baptistery, and the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. You’ll have 1 hour of free time to appreciate these historical wonders and capture countless photographs.

We will then gather once more at Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa and begin our journey back to the meeting point in Livorno, marking the conclusion of this memorable 8-hour tour.
