We convene at 9 am in Piazza Antonio Mitrano, Locorotondo, to commence our exploration of the stunning villages nestled in the Itria Valley.

After a brief introduction, our first stop is Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, where we will admire the impressive 19th-century pillars that define the ancient Porta Napoli. As we traverse the streets, we’ll observe the old Town Hall, which once served as the Communal Library at the close of the 18th century, along with the exquisite Palazzo Morelli, characterized by its intricate facade and charming wrought iron balconies, and the significant Mother Church of San Giorgio.

After completing our visit to Locorotondo, you will drive your vehicle, following the guide to the next splendid destination, Martina Franca. Known for its wealth of baroque and rococo architecture, we’ll start at Piazza XX Settembre and venture through Porta di Santo Stefano to reach Piazza Roma, where we’ll take in the sights of the Dolphin Fountain and the elegant interior of the Palazzo Ducale.

Our journey continues as we make our way to Piazza del Plebiscito, home to the magnificent Basilica of St. Martin, the University structure, and the historic Clock Tower. Before we move on, we will visit Piazza dell'Immacolata, which features the notable exedra, the Chapel of St. Nicholas of the Greeks, and the Church of San Domenico.

As we make our way to Cisternino, the final stop of our tour, prepare to be charmed by this delightful village. Here, we’ll explore the Church of San Nicola, or the Mother Church, which intriguingly stands atop a temple dating back to the 8th century.

The return journey to Locorotondo offers a chance to soak in the stunning panoramas of the Itria Valley, adorned with vast olive groves and sprawling vineyards.

After an enriching 5 hours spent delving into the beauty of the Itria Valley's villages, our tour concludes as we return to our original meeting point.
