At the scheduled time, we will gather at the rafting camp situated in Lingsar. There, participants will engage in a short warm-up session, get equipped with all necessary rafting gear, and receive important instructions on safety protocols to ensure a secure experience.

Following our preparations, we will embark on a 4-mile (6.5 kilometers) rafting journey that will last approximately an hour and a half. This adventure will take us through thrilling rapids for an exhilarating ride, interspersed with calmer stretches that provide the perfect opportunity to unwind and admire the scenic surroundings.

This excursion also offers a unique glimpse into local life, as we’ll observe residents utilizing the river for washing clothes and enjoying a refreshing dip. The Jangkok riverbed plays an integral role in the island’s daily routines, which we will witness firsthand during our experience.

At 12 pm, we will conclude our rafting adventure by returning to the center to hand back the rafting gear, followed by a delightful traditional Indonesian meal. The lunch will feature a variety of dishes, including rice, vegetable soup, fried chicken, boiled eggs with red seasoning, sambal, and battered fried tempeh. Refreshments such as soft drinks, coffee, or tea will also be available.

After a satisfying meal, we will wrap up our day and part ways at the gathering location after a fulfilling total of 6 hours.
