River Thames Cruise + London Eye Tickets
Description
This combined ticket offers you a fantastic opportunity to experience a river cruise on the Thames alongside admission to the London Eye, two iconic attractions in the British capital. This combination allows you to appreciate the beauty of London from both the water and the sky.
River Thames Cruise
Your journey begins at Pier 4 by the London Eye. As the boat sets off, you'll float gracefully along the historic River Thames, surrounded by remarkable centuries-old architecture. On your left, you've got the unmistakable outlines of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. Be ready to capture stunning photographs!
As you sail, the London Eye will appear behind you, seemingly suspended among the clouds along the river. Shortly after, you will spot the Millennium Bridge before passing beneath the majestic Tower Bridge, known for its Victorian mechanism that raises to allow vessels through. Nearby, the historic Tower of London stands, steeped in stories of royal intrigue. Did you know that the tower is home to resident crows, thought to safeguard the monarchy? Legend has it that the fall of the Crown is foretold should the ravens ever leave the fortress.
Further out, the striking dome of St. Paul's Cathedral rises from Ludgate Hill, London’s highest point. Throughout this cruise, an English-speaking guide will share insights into the city’s rich history and stunning architecture.
After a scenic 40-minute journey, you will return to the starting point, filled with memorable sights and stories.
London Eye, the Tallest Ferris Wheel in Europe
Your experience continues with tickets to the London Eye, an impressive Ferris wheel reaching 442 ft (135 m) high on the South Bank of the River Thames. Prepare yourself for a thrilling ascent on the tallest Ferris wheel in Europe!
Riding the London Eye allows you to soar above the heart of London, soaking in breathtaking views for 30 minutes as the glass capsules gently rise, providing a unique 360° view of the city.
From this vantage point, you'll see the River Thames elegantly winding alongside the Houses of Parliament, the golden façade of Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, and St. Paul's Cathedral. On particularly clear days, even Windsor Castle is visible in the distance.
The blend of historical and modern architecture will offer a striking contrast, where Victorian buildings harmoniously coexist with the futuristic designs of The Shard and the skyline of Canary Wharf.
