Shakespeare's Globe Tour
Description
Discover the iconic Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, celebrated as one of the most renowned theatres globally. Experience an immersive journey through the venue that once hosted pivotal performances of William Shakespeare's plays.
Shakespeare's Globe Theatre Tour
The Globe Theatre stands as an accurate reconstruction of the playhouse established in 1599. It holds a significant place in history as the stage where the illustrious Elizabethan playwright, William Shakespeare, debuted his celebrated works.
During a 45-minute guided tour, you will be accompanied by a knowledgeable guide who specializes in the life and contributions of the British poet and playwright. This exploration will encompass the rich history of the Globe, including the devastating fire that ravaged the original theatre and the motivations behind the creation of two subsequent venues.
The tour's primary focus will undoubtedly be Shakespeare himself. Engage in discussions about his life, his literary creations, and the performances staged at this theatre. An exhibition dedicated to the playwright will highlight various artefacts, including costumes and musical instruments that were integral to the events held at the Globe Theatre.
