Tour Information
Our meeting point will be at 6815 Hollywood Boulevard, where we’ll initiate our guided adventure through Hollywood. Are you set to embark on a journey through one of the world’s most recognized neighborhoods? We’ll trace its history from humble beginnings to its current fame.
This excursion will lead us to several of Hollywood's key highlights, distinguished for their historical significance, architectural style, or their roles as iconic filming sites for countless movies shot in this area.
As we stroll towards Ovation Hollywood, we’ll ascend to the rooftop to take in one of the area's finest panoramas. From this vantage point, we’ll reflect on the evolution of Prospect Avenue, once a serene 19th-century pathway, now bustling as Hollywood Boulevard, the cultural epicenter of Los Angeles.
Once back on the street, we will pause at a location featured in Pretty Woman, uncovering interesting anecdotes about a site that shaped a whole era. We will proceed to Grauman’s Egyptian Theatre, a neoclassical-Egyptian architectural marvel inspired by the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb. Following this, we will visit the renowned El Capitan Theatre, the premiere site of Citizen Kane and the launchpad for countless Disney classics.
Shall we keep going? Next, we will check out the Hollywood Masonic Temple, which now hosts Jimmy Kimmel Live!, as we delve into the intriguing history of famous masons who once gathered here.
Our final destination will be the renowned Dolby Theatre, where we will examine the timeless handprints of its neighbor, the TCL Chinese Theatre. We’ll conclude in front of the historic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, the oldest hotel in the area and the venue for the inaugural Academy Awards.
After 2.5 hours delving into the heart of Hollywood, we will return to our starting point, concluding our guided tour.
