Join us on this tour of San José del Cabo, where we will delve into the historic core, visit the Jesuit mission, and admire Plaza Mijares at dawn. Additionally, we will savor a delightful breakfast by the ocean.

Tour Overview

Welcome! Are you ready to witness the enchantment of Los Cabos as the sun rises? We will collect you from your hotel and proceed to the historic area of San José del Cabo, allowing you to soak in its peaceful ambiance during the early morning hours.

Our journey begins at the main beach of San José, where we'll enjoy approximately 1.5 hours. This location offers an ideal vantage point to observe the sun illuminate the horizon. Following this, we'll make our way to the famous Los Cabos letters.

Next, we will search for the San José del Cabo letters, adorned with distinctive motifs representing Baja California Sur, such as whales, desert plants, and spiritual symbols. Our exploration will also lead us to the San José del Cabo Mission, established in 1730 by Jesuit missionaries and reconstructed after periods of conflict and neglect. We will examine its elegant Baroque style, the walls crafted from quarry stone, and the orientation of the temple.

Just a short walk away, we will wander through Plaza Mijares, recognized as the heart of the town. Here, we will observe porticos, balconies, and facades embodying colonial influences reimagined in a Southern Californian style. We’ll explore its courtyards, shaded areas, and designs tailored to the local climate.

The tour culminates at the Pescadito Break restaurant, where we’ll spend between 1 hour and 1.5 hours enjoying a breakfast featuring made-to-order eggs and a beverage. There's no better way to greet the day than with views of the Sea of Cortez.

At the end of our 4-hour adventure, we will return you to your hotel and bid you farewell.
